Linda Ramsbottom
Founder & Executive Director
Linda has worked for over 20 years in sales and marketing for two Fortune 100 companies. She is currently the Managing Partner of Surrey Farms Group and also serves on the board of FC Los Angeles, a nonprofit youth soccer club. Ms. Ramsbottom works regularly with several club coaches, club Technical Directors, college coaches, the NCAA and other mission‐aligned nonprofits. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Colorado.
Raul Palomares
Chief Operations Officer
Raul is currently the Chief Technical Officer for Storfrnt. Previously, Mr. Palomares worked as a Manager for the National Football League (NFL). Prior to the NFL, Mr. Palomares worked in management positions at Movielink LLC, Sony Pictures and the Rand Corporation. Mr. Palomares is a graduate of Cal State Northridge. Mr. Palomares played competitive soccer in college and continues to play in a competitive league. Mr. Palomares also is an assistant soccer coach for FC Golden State. Mr. Palomares has dedicated himself to mentoring and helping others achieve success.
Veronica Andrea Nales
Director & Treasurer
Andrea is a native of Mexico City. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico. Adrea currently resides with her husband, Vicente Del Rio, and family in Los Angeles. They are the proud owners of FRIDA Mexican Cuisine and FRIDAS Tacos. Andrea is the Director of Casa Mexiquense, which represents the Government of the State of Mexico in Los Angeles. Casa Mexiquense assists those in need of access to social services and existing government programs while promoting investment and business opportunities between the State of Mexico and California.
Yvette Verastegui
Director & Secretary
The Honorable Yvette Verastegui is currently assigned to the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse. Before being appointed to the bench by then Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2010, she was a Deputy Alternate Public Defender with the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender’s Office. Previously, she was a Deputy Public Defender with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office and the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine.
Jack Henderson
Youth Mentor Coordinator
Jack grew up in Denver, Colorado in a low-income, single parent household. His mother worked three jobs which enabled he, his brother and sister the future opportunities they desired. Through his hard work in the classroom and on the soccer field he was able to secure a roster spot with the University of Denver, a prestigious university and a top Division I soccer program. As our Youth Soccer Liaison he helps monitor and guide players to post-secondary success. His goal is to help younger generations of low-income, struggling soccer players attain their dream and enable them the successes they deserve.
